The ACS Student Affiliates Chapter of the University of Illinois will primarily strive to accomplish the following:

• To present undergraduates in the School of Chemical Sciences with information regarding the possibilities available to them after graduation; including further education and careers in chemistry; and the pathways that lead to those futures.
• To provide a means by which any UIUC students can serve others in chemistry, either through tutoring fellow undergraduates or bringing chemistry lessons to local 3rd and 4th grade classrooms in the Kids and Chemistry Outreach Program.
• To promote dialogue, camaraderie, and the sharing of information between University undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, and staff interested in and involved in the chemical sciences.
