Staff Secretary in the combined CLS Chemistry Office (aka "Chemical Biology-Inorganic-Materials-Physical Office"), sets a gold standard for efficient administrative support. To quote Professor Jim Lisy, "Going above and beyond is not the exception, but the standard mode of operation for Beth." Professor Ben McCall adds that "when you ask Beth to take care of something, you can rest assured that it will be taken care of promptly, professionally, and with excellence. Having people like Beth to rely on takes a huge weight off the shoulders of the faculty." Professor Ken Suslick writes "We owe her a lot for her calm, patient, and diligent hard work." Beth is a mainstay in an office that has been buffeted by change brought on when the Department of Chemistry decided to pool all clerical offices in CLSL-A.
