| Clara was born in New Jersey and grew up in both the United States and Korea. As an undergraduate, she attended Korea University, where she received her B.S. in chemistry in 2007. In the fall of 2007 she moved to the University of Illinois, where she is obtaining her Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry. |
| Outside of lab, Clara spends time filming, watching, and reviewing movies. |
