| Research |
| Yan was born in China. Yan did his undergraduate work at Dalian University of Technology, where he obtained his B.S. He then attened Indiana State University, where he obtained his M.S. in 2002. He went to Wesleyan University in Connecticut to obtain his Ph.D., and moved with Prof. Baranger to the University of Illinois in 2006. He is currently working on designing and screening phage protein libraries against different stem-loop II RNAs by phage display. |
