Research : Small molecule switches for RNA splicing

Jung-un was born in South Korea. As an undergraduate, she attended Seoul National University where she obtained her B.S. in chemistry in 2004(?), and subsequently obtained her M.S. in 2006. In 2006, she came to the University of Illinois, where she is working on her Ph.D. in Chemical Biology. She is currently working on small molecule switches for alternative splicing.

Outside of lab, Jung-un enjoys watching movies and playing games.
