| Sreeni was born in India. As an undergraduate, he attended Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, where he obtained his B.Pharm. During his time there, he conducted research examining the effects of excipients on formulation and dissolution characteristics of Nifedipine. He later obtained his M.Pharm, conducting calorimetric studies on stability of inclusion complexes of furosemide with cyclodextrins and their interaction with amiloride. Sreeni also has industrial experience, working as a trainee scientist and junior chemist for several industrial companies in India. Sreeni then came to Wesleyan University in Connecticut and began his graduate work, later moving with Prof. Baranger to the University of Illinois where he is currently obtaining his Ph.D. in Chemical Biology. |
