Chem 482 Polymer Physical Chemistry

Description

An intermediate level introduction to the fundamental physical chemistry of polymer systems. Focus is on equilibrium conformation, structure, properties and phase transitions of polymer solutions, dense melts, liquid crystals, mixtures, block copolymers, surfaces and interfaces, and electronic polymers. Same as MSE 458. 3 undergraduate hours. 3 or 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite: One of CHEM 444, CHBE 321, MSE 401, PHYS 427.
