Biography

I am a native of the great Land of Lincoln (Illinois). I graduated from Lake Forest College in the spring of 2003 with a bachelor of arts in chemistry; later that year I joined the research laboratories of Prof. Scott E. Denmark at the University of Illinois. Currently, my research interests are focused on the application of silanolate-based cross-coupling in natural product total synthesis.

In my spare time I enjoy art films, indoor rock climbing, and, of course, assuming my alter ego as CHEMI.
