Biography
I became interested in chemistry during junior high school.
The undergrad studies in Peking University further confirmed
and encouraged my interest. Under the guidance of Professor
Kai Wu, I carried out research on the fabrication of anodic
aluminum oxide nanotemplates and obtained a BS degree in
Chemistry in 2003. In the same year I started my graduate
studies in the University of Illinois and joined the Denmark
Group. Currently I am working on the extension of the cycloaddition
chemistry of nitroalkenes to form azepines.
