Biography
My interest in Chemistry began in my high school years, so I choose it as my major during my college life in Anhui University from 1999 to 2003. I transferred to the University of Science and Technology of China to pursue my PhD work under the supervision of Professor Zhiyong Wang. My thesis work mainly focused on Pd(0)-catalyzed cross coupling reactions and Pd(II) catalyzed oxidative cyclizations.
I joined Professor Denmark’s group for my postdoctoral studies in July of 2008. Currently I am working on the preparative and mechanistic aspects of a new type of organomagnesium reagent.
