Job Resources on the Web

Electronic job searches can be a good supplement to on-campus recruiting and writing campaigns. Some cautions are worth mentioning however. Remember that you cannot control the confidentiality of the information you supply on the Internet. Also, be cautious of using your complete name and address for you may begin receiving unwanted correspondences. Finally, NEVER include your Social Security number or birth date on any information submitted on the Internet or via e-mail. Legitimate employers do not need that information until they have sent you a contract.
