Student Machine Shop Rules

Only persons trained or approved byt the Student Machine Shop Supervisor may use the Student Machine shop.
Safety glasses must be worn at all times.
Shop tools must always be handled in a safe manner
Do not remove tools from the Student Shop. If you need tools, they may be purchased or checked out.
Tools are to be cleaned and replaced after each use by the user.
When in doubt about machine operatons, seek advice.
Only work related to University projects may be performed in the Student Machine Shop
For safety reasons, no work can be done in the shop unless two people are present at all times.
For evening or weekend use see the Student Shop Supervisor.
Report safety problems to the Student Shop Supervisor and/or the Chemistry Administrative Office.
