Micropipette Manipulation
The MP technique is used to quantify (1) the adhesion and (2) the binding kinetics between single cell pairs. We are using this approach to determine the molecular mechanisms of cell adhesion. We use this approach to determine how the molecular structures and bond properties of cell adhesion proteins determine the kinetics, specificity, and strength of adhesive interactions between living cells.
